Halftone of a contemporary ms copy, the only known source for this piece with title-inscription: "Solo p[our une] flûte traversière par J. S. Bach". This wonderful sonata, with movements Allemande, Corrente, Sarabande, Bourée angloise, is a relatively recent addition to the flute repertoire since it's acquisition by the Berlin Royal Library in 1917. It is also popular with other instrumentalists including lutenists. Together with a new practical edition. Preface in Ger-Eng. Wrappers. $15
