La Cenerentola, ossia La bonità in trionfo—containing some of Rossini's finest writing for solo voice and ensembles—was composed in 1816 in a span of three weeks. It followed the success of the Barber of Seville just the year before; the two operas remained equally popular throughout most of the 19th century. Hardbound. $353 (few copies remaining)
