Madrid, 2006. 16 x 22 cm, 220 pp. Spanish songbook copied c.1460-1480 during the reign of the Catholic kings. The MS—reproduced in this facsimile edition in full color—is the careful work of a single scribe and an important precursor to the "Cancionero de Palacio". Once consisting of 107 folios (17 are now lost), the collection contains 95 works, primarily for 3 to 4 voices, notated in choirbook format.
