Five years have passed since the original publication of Jost Thöne's Volumes I–IV on Antonio Stradivari. In that time Thöne and his team have tracked down another 152 Stradivari. So now, with the publication of Volumes V-VIII, more than 300 instruments have been depicted and documented, which should amount to roughly two-thirds of the Antonio Stradivari instruments that remain today.
