Works by Chopin—Facsimile Edition, A XI/60a. Warsaw, 2007. Oblong, 28 x 22 cm, 2 vols, 8, 59 pp. Full-color halftone of the autograph fair copy produced for the French publisher Brandus & Cie, Paris. The autograph lay in the publisher’s archive until purchased some time later by Jane Stirling, and after her death it passed from Thomas Tellefsen, to Édouard Gamche, to the Deutsche Staatsbibliothek Berlin, finally ending up in the Jagiellonian Library in Kraków. The manuscript has been meticulously notated, with a wealth of performance details, dynamic markings and expression marks. Commentary (Pol-Eng-Ger-Sp-Fr-Jp) by Artur Szklener.
