Wiesbaden, 1997. 22 x 29 cm, 16, 5 pp. Beautiful monochrome halftone facsimile of the autograph presentation copy composed in 1844. The text was compiled from two poems out of Eichendorff’s collection “Wanderlieder”. The title page of the ms contains a beautiful vignette by Fanny’s husband, the Prussian court painter Wilhelm Hensel, and suggests that the fair copy was intended as a present. Fine bibliophile edition printed on laid paper, issued on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Fanny Hensel’s death. Commentary in Ger-Eng.
